Owner's uncle was Japanese, and walls clad in plywood panels were to remind of that. However instead of delicate paper partitions I used solid wood to divide this 150 sqm. apartment located in Wilanów, Warsaw. Behind the wall looking like a cabinet or a wardrobe (in fact it is also a cabinet and a wardrobe!) one can find master bedroom with adjacent bathroom. Other wooden walls hide a cloakroom and a kitchen. Door to remaining part of the apartment are finished with felt so they also dissapear from the guest's view. White synthetic epoxy floor is a perfect playground for naughty offspring.
